Henri Cartier-Bresson Award
- The Award is an international grant for 30 000 euros, for a reportage photography project that would otherwise be difficult to achieve. Applicants are nominated by museums, publishers, and galleries, and are generally well-established.
John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation
- Major grants to many disciplines, including photography. The Foundation only supports individuals, and has in the past supported mature photographers such as Gilles Peress, Eugene Smith and Diane Arbus.
The Mother Jones International Fund for Documentary Photography
- An international fund that awards annual grants of $7,000 to photographers documenting important social and political issues around the world. Sponsored by Mother Jones magazine.
3P Photographers Pro Photography Association
- Founded by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, 3P aims to help a photographer undertake a major project by giving financial support over 6 months to a year.
