Sheikh Ibn Uthaymin,The Scholars are divided into 3

Assalamu a'leykum brothers and sisters. the shiekh muhammed ibn al utheymeen (rahimahuallah) said something very intresting about our current reality.

The Scholars are (divided into) 3 (Categories)

The Scholar of the Religion (Al-Milla)
The Scholar of the State
The Scholar of the Nation (peoples Scholar)

First is The Scholar of the Religion (Al Millah) and he is the one that is spreading the Religion of Islam and give Fatwaa regards the Religion of Islam through knowledge and he does not care if that which the Law (Share'ah) guides to, whether it is in accordance to the desires of the people or not.

And what regards The Scholar of the State,he is the one that is looking for that which the State wants and give Fatwa in accordance to its (The State) wishes, even if it contradicts the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

And regards The Scholar of the Nation (peoples Scholar), he is the one that is looking to that which pleases people, if he sees that they are upon something in particular then he will issue a fatwa that pleases them (in that issue),and then he tries to falsify the (textual) evidences from The Book (of Allah) and the Sunnah so that it will agree with the desires of the people (hence named the Scholar of the People/Nation)

Well then, by that category, Shaykh Abdulaziz bin Baz is a government scholar.

We all know of the infamous fatwa legitimising the decision of the King to call on the Americans to station troops in the Kingdom. Just recently, there was heated discussion about whether taking non-Muslims as protectors constitutes kufr.

I wonder whether those who were adamantly in favour of calling it kufr are going to call a spade a spade in this instance?

Hahah, I guess that the author's name "fisabililah" was enough to open the thread full of rage. Madakhil/Talafis hate the peak of Islam, -jihad- with passion and hate the awliya of Allah, -mujahidin- the best of the people alive today and label them all ignorant deviants. Because according to scholars of Sultan, there's no jihad today, only fitna, even though it is the time when EVERY single government in the world is fighting Islam either militarily or ideologically or both.

These scholars serving Tawaghit get big paychecks and big mansions from their masters, and of course there is always fatwa or khutba ready to denounce people who fight for Islam and wish to change the oppressive Taghut regimes that replaced the Sharica with laws of kufr and allied with the kuffar who are actively fighting muslims and supporting them in their crusade every way, financially and militarily.

Scholarly ijmac of 1400 years seems to fly out of the window when new generation of scholars bring new bab to fiqh: "Maslaxa and Mafsada", that allows anything from kufr to killing muslims in order to bring benefit to the country (not even islamic umma, but certain country), and of course this benefit is not looked at from islamic point of view but purely secular point of view. Keeping Bush, Blair and UN happy is what is important, and acting islamically or doing that what is wajib for us brings danger to our country and oppressive system where ruling family takes 99% and nation gets 1%.... Who can afford to make crusaders mad?

the present day Salafis take the understanding and practice of the diin from the salaf(first three generations).
That blocks out new interpretation or "Bidca" creeping into the diin from the scholars of the state and the scholars of the nation.
Allah is using them to preserve his diin. Masha Allah.
