If i was Omar bashir i would tell the UN that they should cease all operations within Sudan,
They should be given a deadline to withdraw all personel and all agreements involving the UN should be up for review.
furthermore he should threaten to take Sudan out of the UN..
but he is a flower,
he is relying on the chinese to make the point for him..
they will make the ICC ruling watered down, and prevent any thing else materializing from the UN.

secretly??
they openly arm sudan, its an open relationship
khartoum is full of chinese and there is a hotel room shortage these days due to chinese businessmen staying long periods.
there are also shop signs apearing in khartoum with chinese writing to cater to chinese visitors and shhoppers.
china has a stake in sudan and will not let the US fuk it.
the US's main interest is to dominate the sudanese oil industry and economy and keep out chinese competitors, they are overblowing the darfur crisis becuase they have been checkmated and are on the losing side.
China and Russia will not allow a security council resolution for sanctions,
the US can pressure weak european countries to join the sanctions, but large countries like germany and france may choose to ignore the US.

the chinese still say they obide by the UN arms embargo although all evidence suggests they are arming the sudanese government, and chinese weapons and artillery is being used in darfur.
The US may be hypocritical, but that still doesn't justify thousands of people killed and many more being displaced by the sudanese government.

omar bashir=innocent.
you somalia's are strange creatures you accept what the american wants to label without checkin the facts....firstly whats happening in darfur is exactly whats happening in somalia its a tribal war.the war is between the fur who cam from mali few hundred years ago and the arab tribes in darfur who has been there for about 1000 years,SO its like the bantu's in south somalia taking south somalia and kicking the other somali native out from their land because they are less in number and when the somali tribe retalite its like a somali genoicide against the bantu who came from south east africa few hundred years ago and the president of somalia is responsible.its nothing but a smear campaign because omar al bashir has denied to give american companies a contract for the rich natural resources sudan has.so like saddam they want to get rid of him and get an american puppet president in there, come on i think its obvious now.

The US has actually done what is being alleged about the Sudanese government. The US has massacred thousands of innocent Somalis and displaced millions of them. Isn't that what the US has done by supporting and taking part of the invasion/occupation of Somalia?RebelLion wrote:The US may be hypocritical, but that still doesn't justify thousands of people killed and many more being displaced by the sudanese government.
