Why are you here in simple or not so simple words? Can you elaborate please?

To aid you with the reply in some fashion, You come here most likely to kill time and have fun, escape from the misery of busy life and its uninspiring routine(if you are like Basra of course). You made friends, you made enemies, you laughed and sometimes felt sad if you are sentimental. You were discomfited perhaps by your inability to defend your position eloquently as some of your foes did, you developed a crush on someone or someone developed one on you. You miserably failed to make contact or succeeded in turning an online crush into a substantial acquintance.

I will be back to continue but go ahead while I am not here and talk about your reasons for being here on a regular basis or on a periodical basis.

My Advise to some forumers:

Please don't argue with anyone, if you are here to have fun and chatt with likeminded, it is not worth getting involved in an argument with someone who will not respect you. Your time and attention should be spent in the service of your pleasure.

No and I can never imagine falling for someone on the internet. It is just one of those things that boggles my mind when I hear people meeting on the internet and getting into some kind of a relationship. Surprised

There isn't a single day in my life where I am not hit on by someone of the opposite sex and I am bragging at all. Maybe that is why I find it difficult to understand why anyone would search for love or whatever else it is searching for on the internet. Isn't doing this in real life like say going to a get-together or a party much easier?

The internet has become the meeting place for many who are caught up in life's demands and who couldn't afford time to meet the opposite sex in real life. So people register in online matrimonials to give themselves a chance. It is something new to us somalis, however, many in the west actually try the net and pay money to register in websites that facilitate meeting the supposed perfect match.

Just because you are young and smart guy with opportunities to meet and impress ladies, not everyone is that lucky.

Besides, one thing leads to another, it is an e-mail first, then an exchange of phone numbers, before you know it, the person is fully part of your life if you come to like them. Some met online and got married. The only thing one needs to do is to navigate and avoid certain characters. The net personalities can be so powerful and influential enough to wreck homes(Ask Basra and how she complained about Gama'diid) and set husbands and wives against each other, lovers screaming at each other and etc.

I can honestly say I have been on undercover assignment working on an advert for KFC.

Genuine Question which deserves genuine answer - Somalinet is more like a refugee for me. I mean when the world outside sh!ts me to death, I come in this site and I laugh me guts out and think individuality is a bliss. I'm here tonight due to the miserable week I had at work. i think because in reall life am pretty quite and i only really properly talk to dear people likemy family and really close friends, even though i do have some wild times i never quite get to talk to somali sister the boys am okay with but i rarely talk to like minded girls. so i gusse its a chance to talk xalimos and hate them because of their are two faced Very Happy

Foxy abaayo I feel sorry for you. Working with other 8 females is a curse. I had the same problem not too long ago.

Back to the topic. When I'm at work or school. I like to come here and basically kill time. It's a great way to escap reality. I rather be here, than listen to my Co-workes complain about life, 24/7.
