Why is Somali food so boring? It's only baasto and bariis!!!

I'm getting tired of my hoyoo only making baasto/macaroni, bariis, and sometimes lasagna. Why is Somali cuisine so dull? I wish Somali food was more like Pakistani/Indian food....mmmm, now their food is amazing!

Where about in Somalia are you from?


I never been to conkur but from what i saw reer konfur in the kitchen... :lawd:

Then come reer jabuuti :smugruss:



I say waqooyiga has the most boring food. They couldn't cook if their life depended on it.

Apart from the few exception...Like our resident Chef YummyMummy...

I'm from Burao. And all Somalis have the same food...lol there's no difference in the food whether you're in Ogaden, Hargeisa, or Kismayo!

well considering none of that is somali food I have no idea why you are mad.

somalis don't make food. all our ancestors ate was goat meat if they were lucky and drank camel milk. all this rice and pasta is shit we got from other people. namely the italians, indians, etc.

there is no such thing as somali food. even caangelo is a habesha creation.

we are a people who have created nothing of value in this world.

^kanna waaka qodkii loo qoday ku dhacay. Intaas uun bu/bey rabtay inay kaa yeedhsiiso ...inay dadkeenu wax karin garanayn, eber yihiin etc.
