I was at a transit in Ottawa once and I went to the timmys.

There was a Somali girl working there and few other people....I went up, took my headphones off...said hi, how are you (in somali) she said Im good back in somali...and then I made my order...she got it to me and said "dont worry about it" and I insisted to pay but she said no...then she asked where I was going etc etc...after the short convo...I gave her a $5 bill...told her she can keep it as tip...

but I love somali ppl cause they give me free-bees!

Somali people are lovely most of the time, especially when it comes to helping each other.

I remember being really ill one day, and I couldn't walk, and this Somali lady I've never met helped me, she sat with me on the train, but she couldn't accompany me all the way home, but she insisted that she'd pay for my taxi. It's Allah (swt) who sends us aid when we most need it, through people like her. Alhamdulillah.
