Addow,

Ninyahow, ma mid baad qudbi siraysatey?

Qudbi siro is not a good marriage practice. It is not good for the kids who are born out of Qudbi Siro, as they are kept away from their families..Can you imagine being kept a secret from your own uncles, aunts and grandparents?

This action is always a game by a greedy man and a desperate women...

1. Men most of them are greedy to the extent they want more than one wife even thought most of the time they can't even handle one wife...

2. Men do this, because they are so thrifty they want not to do any expense with his wife, so he tells her, "Qudbi sir baad tahaye, dee gurigaaga ayaan kugu qabayaa"...Is masruuf adigu..

3.There are out there, some sick women who are looking for only a married husband...
because they are good for nothing, therefore they bring families into a destruction, ofcourse with the help of the greedy man  :x

Ignorant one, don't mistake the Shia with the Sunni. There is no such thing as nikaaxul misyar. And I again refrain from that "I think" chants.

Gacansareeye,

Masaafays, is when you take a girl and do the engagment(nikaax) without her family knowing,But after the nikaax is done it is not a secret anymore. I don't know the number of miles but they say a certain number of miles is required to be travelled so the nikaax becomes legal..It is like eloping...I don't think this kind of Nikaax is xalaal..100% as there should be weli for the girl...

Qudbi sir, means a secret marriage...No one should know..

Qudbo siro... So, when directly translated it means "secret announcement?"

Ahaa, so if they get secretly married, how will they explain a living person in their house?

"Oo, maxamad baa guriga kula dagan?  "
"Haahey, waan is qabnaa... surprise! "

kambuli, the lines are very blurry, the end result are the same in two respects; its xaraam, and it will be known sooner or later. can something be qudbo siro indefinitely, what happens to the kids, are they settled somewhere far and beyond. i dont want my two kids of two mothers fighting in dugsi not knowing they are brothers, or ganging up on their brothers not knowing any better.

SexyK,

You take ample precautions first:

1. Live in the leafy suburbs with no Somalis nearby

2. Have all visitors call before they come over.

3. Use the "cousin' excuse to deflect attention

Dhaga,

Its a more husband friendly nikkah with less requirements:

Misyar marriage can be defined as a marriage contract between a man and a woman, in which the woman waives some of the rights she would have in a normal Islamic marriage. This sometimes takes place when, for example, there are many women who, as they get older, find it increasingly difficult to marry. In this case a woman opts for a husband who is not able to fulfil the normal marital duties like financial maintenance, or spending adequate time with her, for example. She considers that marrying such a husband is better than remaining unmarried.

The only ignorant one is you who couldnt differentiate b.w "nikaahul misyar" and muta marriage.I think you are desperately trying to find loopholes in qudbo siro which is a common thing.

Qudbo siro doesnt mean indefinate secrecy,It is like sedex bil ama afar bil kadib ayaan ku guri geysan doonaa ee aan hadda is aroosno.
