Mustapha Kemal AtaKufr was a necessary evil; the Allied Powers were determined to dismember Turkeu and do to them what they did to the Arabs. AtaKufr put a stop to that and wanted modernisation; he just went about it the wrong way.

Dawladsade, being 'bad' Great is not a desireable thing. Ha ku faanin.
Regardless, GREAT is determined by the scope and far reaching effect of your achievement, negative or positive.

BTW, I advise you to read more about Turkey during that time and the policies advanced by Ataturk.

Dawalad the Ottoman empire was allready destroyed by the defeat in the war.

its road to destruction was already sealed when the Young turks made the coup againts the Last khalifa.

the Khalifate was eneded at that moment.

Kemal simply arranged the funeral of the Osmanli Khalifate

DawladSade,

Somalia is where the Ottoman Empire today but with one EXCEPT, The Ottomans AT LEAST had a Functioning Gov't unlike Somalia today... i agree with Padishah the Allies would of had the Ottomans dismembered and made them a Satellite nation for the west like the Arab States today.but Kemal put a end to it he did in a Disrespectful way that harmed and Subjected the Turkish Culture and religion. his mistakes can be felt in the killings of Turkish Critic of the Armenian Genocide and the Elections

he made mistakes and his mistakes are he failed to respect the religion of Turkish muslims and their culture

In that case Dawladsade, AtaKufr can be called 'great'; although it pains me to even contemplate it.

One relic of Padishah Abdulhamid's era is the effort to compile the Hanafi Fiqh according into Western style Legal Code. I wonder if there is such an effort with Shafi'i Fiqh, and whether this would not be useful for Saddam's idea.

Saddam; his legacy is close co-operation with the Zionist movement. Turkey and Israell's leadership are fast friends, and it helps that his Sabbatean filth is well represented in the military brass.

Saddam, this is the first time you look like a dunce to me. How did Ataturk save the Turks from European domination when he conformed his society to BE European-like? This belies the need for the Europeans to dominate them because they have already conformed.

It is like saying I would rather surrender then fight. By surrendering, you have ALREADY lost the fight.

Where is your sense of Honor and your sense of Glory Saddam? Are you not a SADE, especially a REER HASSAN?

Where and what would you be today if the reer Hassan conformed to Rahanweyn and minorities surrounding us in Gedo instead of being the glorious warriors articles and books are dedicated to?

I'm not sure what suspending the Constitution did for Padishah Abdulhamid. I wonder if exiling or liquidating the Young Turks, cutting their source of funding, and keeping an eye on the Sabbateans would have been a better approach.
