horta somalida maxay isku gub gubaan Confused , what kind of medicine is it? how can it help? ..why why? when they can get infection of the skin from it, a simple sore can become infected and become dangerous if it is not treated Confused ..

Naima,

Adiga ma lagu gubay abay??... Dabka waa daawo according to the sunnah of the prophet CSW...and it does make some sense...at least for some diseases.

Since it stimulates some nerves to function...but I dont know about gugub and cagarshow.. Very Happy

Dabka waa mar cadow marna daawo... why somalis isku gub gubaan is based on long and old tradtion... for example dabka is medicine for following :-

1.QUUNKA
2.DALQADA
3.CUDURKA DUMARKA XAGA HOOS KA GALA(CONDOLOMA)
4.AF QALOOCA
5.CARSHOOWGA
6.JABIDA IYO MURGACASHADA

as well as many other illness,,,,,,

It is just an ignorance act...I remember back in Somalia, there was this girl who had burn marks around her mouth..Four spots..Children used to call her "Arbaca Nuqda" Sad
