I'm not surprised the dutch teams are in the bottom 10.....if this was the 90's they'd be in the top 10.....i guess it's true what they say....."when you're on top there's only one way you can go, and that is down"

For some reason i thought Porto had a better track record than Lyon, i haven't been watching them too much.

The top 10 aint a surprise really, any1 could have guessed that.

Within 10 years time, my team Tottenham Hotspurs shall make an appearance on that list.

Go Spurs up

what is this ranking based on? Last year acheivements? or this year?

Based on last year united and milan would be top.

As for the fella who said he watches chelsea because they are exciting, what you smoking bro? chelsea are the furthest team from exciting.

Another routine win for united today, one point behind the gunners who will fall away soon.

MJ-Pride,

Where did you get this bullshit list from? Milan at 17!!!!
Whoever compiled this list must have assigned the rankings randomly. The official UEFA rankings are:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_coefficients (scroll down).

For a more updated and in detail list:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uef ... k2008.html

As you might observe, Milan are at the very top of every list and have been so for the last 4 years.

to the yankies,
UEFA is the governing body of European soccer

Diplomasi,
The link you provided is last year. This one is how team perform in their domestic league and Ac milan are struggling in Seria A and languishing 10th place in the Italian league. Here is the updated link up

That is exactly why I gave you the updated list.

Which of the two holds more ground: Foxsport, an american sports channel that, like the the rest of America doesn't know shitt about football or the governing body who oversees the running of the actual football competitions these teams take part in?

The official UEFA rankings list is not simply compiled so that fans could brag about their team's ranking. These rankings are used to form the group stage of both the Champions League (the biggest football competition as far as clubs are concerned) and the UEFA cup.

By the way, where does it say that the Foxsport ranking is for domestic competitions only?
