It is the Southern Somalia that is ripe for annexation. It is already under foreign occupation.
The Dhabayaco and Mareexaans don't really mind being under Addis Abeba rule that is what you get from how they support Addis's policy and regime. For these two clans, if it came to choosing between rule under the AlShabaab Islamic rule or Addis Abeba, they will definitely hands-down choose Addis Abeba.
The Kenyan and other East African nations like Uganda and Burunti who already have men on the ground are eyeing annexing the Raxanwayn and far south regions who are also more proud to be annexed than to remaining in perpetual madness.
In all cases, Somaliland is safe and sound. Unlike Southern clans, we do not have clans who want to bring foreign armies into our lands. In Southern Somalia they are proud to bring occupation and at the same time they should also be proud in being annexed - because occupation is the first step in annexation.
