This is what Kenya and Ethiopia were advocating for years to divide Somalia between the two once and for good, only sad and dark days are ahead if the neighboring troops invade Somalia, the good and proud days of being Somali is gone down the drain, from now on all we are going to get is Gumeysi and HIV what else do you get from Ethiopia and Kenya.
Al Shabaab must be crushed by all means. If the Ethiopians come back, you will never hear a whisper from me personally. We have had enough of Al Qaeda.

the government peaceful and reconcialotory approach has backfired, these guys are determined to fight.
The government is finished off,the death of Omar hashi in the suicide attack was too much for them, the government troops have no morale to fight against a well determined militants who love death more than they love live.
you can hate them but they are determined.

It is a really between a rock and hard place. On the one hand Xabashi get legitimized and this time they are guaranteed to stay on and on the other Somalia becomes taliban Afghanistan, a pariah state that the world will not allow to exist.

Voltage & Diyeesha,

We should never welcome Ethiopia-Kenya to occupy more Somali territories then they already have.

We all may despise the extremists and their f.cked up foreign jihadi fighters, but we should never let those extremists drive us into the hands of the two African states that already occupy Somali territory and people.

This is a dark day for Somalia, and all thanks to the religious pretenders (Sh.Sharif, SH.Aweys, Sh.Turku, Abu Mansuur, Goodane etc etc).

The religious pretenders are solely responsible for turning Somalia into a playground for foreign powers.

I'm not the best person to judge anyone's character but I think it's hypocritical to bring foreign troops to Somalia, the new president was against foreign troops before right?

Move on, the argument has moved on from that stage

Somaliweyn welcome back and we send our condolences to Addoow's family and beel. Just how do you think Al Shabaab is going to be defeated? Truth be told I would rather accept an Ethiopian puppet regime in Somalia that has access to world markets and can exist peacefully than the paria Afghanistan state.

At some point we have to be brave enough to accept something big. The U.S had to wipe Germany and Japan out to get them to be where they are today.

Al Shabaab has to be liquidated by all means.

^So we have come to the conclusion that no matter who leads Somalis will oppose stability?
here's my two cents; the key to fixing Somalia lies with in the educated Somalis who have studied abroad.

Voltage,

Eng.Addoow should have exited the game a long time ago. Anyways, may allah make it easy for his family and children.

About the extremists, they are a lesson to all Somalis.

So far their succes can be explained by their unity in extremism, while their opponents are divided by clan and region and have lived in hostility for a long time. The opponents of the extremists do not even conduct a joint military operation because of mistrust and animosity existing between them.

For example,

When the extremists captured Kismaanyo, many other Somali groups and actors were laughing at the defeated political faction then in control of Kismanyo. When they defeated the political faction in control of Baay/Bakool, others were on the side-line and just watching it like a far-from-my-bed-show. Now they are in Mogadishu, and even within Mogadishu city some sections of the city were on the sideline while others were battling fearcilly against the extremists. Now, those that were on the side line are now engaged in a war of survival against the extremists.

Today, Southern Somali groups are in trouble while the Northern Somali groups are rejoicing and fueling the conflict by cheering for the extremists. Tommorow, when the fire reaches them they are all alone and the extremists will wipe all the development they have achieved since 1991.

We should learn from our defeats, when there is a group out there that threatens all Somalis and what Somalis have stood for: our culture, social structures, political organization, our independence and freedom as nomads, and above all tolerance and hospitality we should have presented a united front against that group (extremists).

Fortunately for all Somalis: the extremists will not last long, they carry the seed of their own defeat: oppressive and totalitarian approach to Somalis and their affaires.

Voltage,

As for the Ethiopians & Kenya, we need to look back at our history: 1960-1991. Those two countries did everything to discredit and dissolve the Somali state and after 1991 have played their role in prolonging the anarchy.

We should never tolerate their puppet rule in Somalia. Puppet regime is as worse as a bad-copy of Taliban rule in Somalia.

Insha allah, Somali people will overcome these two evil entities.

Another sad in somali history but it's better than the other alternative of crazy teenaagers with paki clothes. I would sugeest that the government give out a clear message to the south residents to leave their homes for the last time so that we can bomb every major city in the south down along with shabab and other followers only then can we start to build somalia back up again.

But short after that we had contacted to Abdirak Kampala, a freelance journalist in area of the fighting specially Nasin-Bundo neighborhood in Shibis district and told Shabelle Media Network that Hisbul Islam forces backing by Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen forces were in Nasib-Bundo zone, an area of the fighting in north of the capital.

Kampala said that the sound of heavy gunfire could be heard in all directions as many fleeing people could also be seen in warring areas of the fighting in Mogadishu.

sxb nasiib bundo is less than 1 km away from villa somali wallah dammmn

truth be told right now at diz situation i will choose Ethiopia over alshabab wallah
