Obama's African Journey special on CNN with Cooper...

Postby Basra- » Sun Jul 19, 2009 6:21 pm

They went to Ghana. R u serious?????? They visited the dungeoun or port prison where the africans were snatched or sailed from in the early 19th century. Isnt it bizarre that the UK royal family had something indirectly to do with this controversial slavery and yet i cant but seem to adore and enjoy the saga or stories of the English Royal family.

Oh what they went through those poor africans. I believe i almosted shed some crocodile tears. Then, ironically Anderson Cooper showed how slavery has not ended in Ghana. Women and children enslaved, forced to prostitution, etc etc etc... So i was sitting there watching this piece and thinking--WHATS THE POINT?? If Africans can enslave themselves-- then --we shouldnt feel so bad about the Whites. I mean, after all, somebody had to do the dirty job. The adoons were muscular, strong like mules and dummies. They could help the helpless, frail white gentlemen in plowing their lands.... .....and in exchange-- the adoons will get a plate of food to eat. I think--things happen for a reason. And sitting there watching this piece i couldnt HELP but say the reason is---this freaking african american bastards are lucky their ancestors have gone through that. I mean, would they want to live in Today Ghana condition??? The answer of course is unequivically- NO! Or would they want to be the modern poverty slaves? They are in america today --in the manifestation of a JZ & Beyounce and Oprah--- do they really have an inkling to complain???

Who is with me here??? Let me hear----HERE !! HERE ! HERE!

"Ghanaians were hoping Obama would announce new American trade and aid agreements to reward the country for its embrace of all the political and economic reforms demanded by Washington and its allies. Instead, many felt they were merely offered preachy words by Obama instead of substantive deals"

  How many times have i preached that Obama has no substance. Its all talk, talk and no action. Can someone please enlighten our president that actions speaks louder than words??

Aside from the negativity of the "Ghanaians".....Obama was well received, a Super star reception, as we would expect.

"
This past Monday, July 13, a day after Obama’s weekend visit, the main national newspaper, The Daily Graphic, featured the front page headline “Hail Obama!”"

I can imagine Cawar and Fah being the editor of these newspaper hailing obama. I can vividly see their exuberant fat imposing bodies scream HAIL OBAMA!!

Basra,

The young girl that was enlsaved in present time wasn't in Ghana rather Haiti. He was making reference of past and present day slavery. That young girl was very abused. I hope they freed her. very sad.
