Sheikh Sharif Abdi Nur, a most respected and knowledgeable Somali cleric based in Saudi Arabia, describes the Ogadeni rebels as Mujahideen and their war with Ethiopia as a legitimate jihad against Christian aggressors.

These organization fight politically to get their lands free in order to rule it with shariah. This is considered a jihad, and they are jihadist!!! The sheikh was right when he said they are jihadist, he made a correct fatwa ruling!!! I don't like the cagdheer but the fact is they are fighting a holy-war!!! I don't necessarily agree with the way they are going about it, however it is their choice to do what they see as fit!!!

Those who oppose them only do so out of ignorance, clanism,hatred and their opposition will only become a burden upon themselves.
