This is great news.The niqab is completely uneccesary and in fact goes against the whole point of hijab,internal and external modesty, as it screams 'Look at me!! I'm so much better than you sluts!!!'

yep, that's him. name any kufr/sin - cleaning islamic texts from "extremism" (at the request of the vatican), usury, hijab bans, serving in the armies of the crusaders in afghanistan/iraq, etc - and he allows/supports it. and he even goes as far as to claim that the core beliefs of al-islam are the same as christianity and judaism.

if you look far enough you will find someone to make anything halal or haram. alhamdulilah that our religion is based on evidence as for tantawi we say what allah swt revealed:

ولا تلبسوا الحق بالباطل وتكتموا الحق وأنتم تعلمون

Niqab, strict segregation, travel restrictions, mahrem laws are designed to restict women from access to opportunities and treat them as second class citizens. If any man supports putting women behind a mask then he is admitting to being a sexual predator that cannot control his behaviour.
