Re: Early Somalis vs Kacaan Somalis vs Present Somalis

I believe with dawladii kacaanka they were two phases: the first phase from 69-77 and the second phase from 77-90
Waalidkey waxyaaba badan oo fiican ayey ka sheegi jireen ka hor 77kii laakin wixii ka dambeeyey waqtigaa waad iska ogtihiin.

Thats where some people get confused.

From 1969-1977 the military regime initiated progressive development and had popular support. The military regime its composition also mirrored the unity of the Somali people, and its campaign against clannism and nepotism had wide support amongst the Somali people.

From 1978-1991, clannist people from Gedo/Galgaduud turned the whole government into a cash cow to feed their family members. The landcruiser era started, and Somalia became a neo-colonial state that was depended on IMF/World Bank. Dictator Barre used every little money and aid that poured into the country to strenghten his dictatorial grip on the country and his clan perceived the whole government as their property. The dictator lost it when he unleashed the Somali National Army to massacre Somali civilians in Northwestern (Hargaisa-Berbera-Burco), Northeastern ( Bari), Central (Mudug) and Southern Somalia (Banadir)..that legacy is what we still remember..

So, if one comes to me and praises the first period 1969-1977 I would agree with him. But those who grew fat on the money just because they happened to be from the same clan as the dictator would glorify his regime even till the last day he spent in Mogadishu: 25 Jan 1991. To those people: The dictator has ruined everything he built during 1969-1977 and he will be mostly remembered for his dictatorial grip on our nation and eventually his humiliating exile from Somalia.
Dictator aye ku walateey  , u broke the record lol. Siyaad (AUN) changed the old goverment name . and named the nation , Somali Democratic Republic . we use to have elections :D

the rest u wrote is complete mambo-jambo & lies . somalis have always been killing each other . dont blame it on one man

he will be remember has the FATHER OF MODERN SOMALIA Thanks for all you have done for us Aabe Siyaad (AUN), giving us a written language, free education, free heatlcare & a time of history that we still today are proud of day . RIP :som: :som: :rose: :som: :som: :som:

The first phase we were under colonial rule.
The third phase (now) we are under kuwa dariska ah.

So i guess its the second phase ( kacaan ) that stands out
for what it did for the nation and its people.

Somaliweyn

Reer Galgaduud were politically and economically active way before Siyaad Barre was even born and even during the rebellion against the Kacaan they were not depended on the National army to defeat insubordinates with Ethiopians, im not going to list prominent figures or their achievements making a fuzz out of a petty allegation motivated by Qabyaalad.

its time for you to mature and change attitude
