How the heck do people live there? I mean for THREE years this place Has literally been Hell. The worst part is the International Community wants it like that, and they will not help any one party to take full control of that town. How sad for the residents there, to know that at any minute You can be shot in the back.

There is no such thing as a civilian in Muqdishu. Every single person the lives there is a Mujahid plain and simple, from the 80 year old lady to the little kid. Most of the intellectuals and people useful to the Somali nation have already left, so I could care less if the warring parties slaughter themselves and their kin. As soon as they start that business they'll make enough to buy a mansion in Mombassa and then ku wareeji the dirty business to one of their Inadeers, who will give Him commissions/royalty.
