Obviously fashion is fashion regardless of the decades...I love 20s and 40s fashion...that doesnt mean I lived in that era.

Anyways, I just hate shoulder pads...they just make ppl ugly.

Ms Nalia, I'm with you on this. Shoulder pads are so off! :down:

I recall my momma picking eid outfits when I was a lil kid, she loved purchasing clothes from the local Somali shops. Naturally, it consisted of a 'skirt & matching top set' . Aside from bearing the humuliation of having 4 or 5 other clones during eid prayer I had to deal with them ugly, annoying ass shoulder pads! I think my disdain for them, began then. :|

The whole "working girl" look is not my thing. Ive seen those jackets at stores...I baught a few and ripped the shoulder pads off.
