First time now the Deaf back home can enjoy Jumcah khutbah

Postby AbuDujanah » Fri Sep 10, 2010 9:22 am

This is a project that started last year in Awdal. Now almost every Mosque in Boorama has a khateeb that translates the Khutba for the hearing impaired. This was a service that was helped by the School for the hearing impaired in Borama, Awdal.

Boorama: Nin Dhegoolayaasha u tarjumaya Khudbadda Salaada Jimcaha

Boorama (Ogaal)- Masaajidka Abu Hurayra oo ku yaala badhtamaha magaalada Boorame, ayaa shalay markii u horeysay la geeyay nin Khudbadda wacdiga ah ee Salaada Jimce u tarjumaya dadka Dhegooleyaasha ah.
Siday faafisay shabakadda wararka Internet-ka ee Ramaasnews, ninkan tarjumaanka ah oo Khadiibka dhinac taagnaa waxa uu nuxurka wacdiga Diiniga ah ee Khudbaddii Jimcuhu xambaarsayd u tarjumay dadka Dhegooleyaasha ah ee ku tukada Masaajidkaa, iyadoo siday Shabakaddu faafisay ay talaabadaas si weyn u soo dhaweeyeen in ku dhow 50 qof oo Dhegooleyaal ah oo ku tukanayay Masaajidkaas.
Imaamka Masaajidka Abu Hurayra ee Magaalada Boorame Sh. Cali Shucayb oo Salaadii Jimcaha ka dib Saxaafada la hadlayay, ayaa sheegay inay ninkan dadka dhegooleyaasha ah u turjumayay Khudbadii salaada Jimcaha ay ugu talo galeen si dadka dhegaha la’a loo fahamsiiyo Wacdiga Diinigiga oo aanay markii hore awood u lahayn inay fahmaan. Sh. Cali Shucayb waxa uu sheegay in qorshahan ay soo kordhiyeen ay gacan ka siiyeen Guddiga Wanaag-farista iyo Xumaan-reebista ee magaalada Boorame iyo Shirkad Madaxbanaan oo gacanta ku haysa Biyaha magaalada Boorama. Iimaanka Masjidka Abu-huraysa – Boorama, waxa uu Masaajidada dalka oo dhan ugu baaqay inay adeegan oo kale u fidiyaan dadka Dhegooleyaasha ah. "Maanta oo qudha ayaan fahmay farriintii ay xambaarsanayd khudbadii Salaada Jimacaha oo la xidhiidhay qiimaha maalinta Jimcaha iyo sida loogu baahan yahay in qofka Muslimka ahi uga faa’iidaysto maalintaasi." Sidaa waxa yidhi Cabdiqaadir oo ah wiil Dhalinyaro ah oo ka mid ah Dhegooleyaashii Salaadii Jimce ee shalay ku tukaday Masaajidka Abu-Hurayra ee magaalada Boorama.
Waa markii ugu horeysay ee adeeg noocan oo kale ah loo fidiyo dadka Dhegooleyaasha ah, lana fahamsiiyo Wacdiyada Diiniga ah ee Masaajidada dalka laga jeediyo maalmaha Jimcayaasha ah.

Listening to "Khudbadda Jimcaha"

For the first time in the history of the Somali people hearing impaired people had the privilege of sitting in a mosque with fellow citizens and understanding every single word of the Imaam’s Friday “Khudba” with the help of a translator. Warkamaanta congratulates Imaam Sh Cali Shucayb and the Abu Hurayra Mosque for his bold step forward. It sure is a new milestone in the march of progress of the people of Somaliland. It is a victory for all the people hearing impaired or not.

We also acknowledg Borama’s school for the deaf. It is continuing to have dramatic impact on the quality of life of hearing impaired citizens of the city. Knowledge is the first step of making progress and this school opened the door of knowledge to thousands of hearing impaired people. And it will continue to open more doors in the future.
