Probably a wise decision, what is Uganda there for? What peace are they keeping?

Now that those African mercenaries are exposed to the rest of the world, they are threatening to pullout their troops from Somalia which will boast the moral of alshabaab and other extremist lunatics.

The Ethiopians could barely afford to go into Somalia in 2006, they're still paying that off.
Bush isn't there to bankroll their adventures anymore

Do you think Museveni is simply bluffing or will he actually pull out of Somalia?

Museveni isn't all that secure in Uganda, he has serious domestic issues, and having his citizens getting blown up because of what they're doing in Somalia is going to complicate those issues for him.

Al-Shabab aren't stupid, they aren't attacking targets in Uganda for fun, but creating consequences at home for actions taken abroad is a very effective way of getting countries who don't really care about the situation there out of that country.

It forced Spain out of Iraq, and it'll get Uganda out of Somalia.

The only countries where that won't really work are great powers, which was the miscalculation that al-Qaeda and Japan have made of the USA. The USA in particular has a very long history of war and are actually very warlike people, which is something a lot of people don't realize.

Nigeria will send troops when the Ugandans pull out to continue the shelling of Mogadishu residential neighborhoods where the Ugandans left off.
