The man who's enclave called in Ethiopian troops to discipline a bunch of kids in Awdal is criticizing a recognized statesman.

Read it and weep

It is reported that more than one thousand (1000) Ethiopia soldiers have entered awdal region of Somaliland for the last two days in response to the news of ONLF rebels in the region. The soldiers have come to search the mountains where more than 300 rebels are reported to be hiding.
This is the first time that Ethiopian troops entered the western part of Somaliland and is a significant embarrassment for the government lead by Silanyo. The fact that between 300-700 OLF fighters came to Somaliland territory and have crossed to Ethiopia as reported by the local news websites is the first sign of the drastic decline in Somaliland security since Kulmiye took the leadership of the country.
While the previous government has put much emphasis in securing Somaliland borders, the current government seems to have spent much time and effort in settling scores with UDUB and removing civil servants that worked under the previous government from their jobs - therefore neglecting the security of the country. This kind of purge has also demoralized the public who have always kept vigilance of any intrusion into their neighbourhoods and has created loop holes in the general security situation of the country.
There is also an already existing rift between Ethiopia and the new Somaliland government both on security and political issues as the Ethiopians suspects some of the newly appointed Somaliland cabinet ministers are pan/Somalists and have relations with Al Shabaab of Somalia. This recent incursion of rebels into Ethiopia through Somaliland will put further strain into an already stretched relationship between the two countries.

ONLF is a separatist rebel group fighting to make the region of Ogaden in eastern Ethiopia an independent state. ONLF, established in 1984, demands for the autonomy of this region, and claimed responsibility for several attacks since the beginning of 2007 aimed at Ethiopian forces in the area, which the government considers a region under the new federal system.
Somaliland is an unrecognized state located in the Horn of Africa. In 1988, the Siad BarreSiad Barre regime committed massacres against the people of Somaliland, which led to the Somali Civil War. The war left the economic and military infrastructure severely damaged. After the collapse of the central government in 1991, the territory re-asserted its independence and withdrew from Somalia on 18 May. Since then, it has been governed by an administration that seeks self-determination as the Republic of Somaliland. Somaliland is bordered by Ethiopia in the south and west, Djibouti in the northwest, the Gulf of Aden in the north, and by Somalia (Puntland) in the east.
