james, this book that i assume is your source and/or inspiration for the map, what does it say about the people who lived there, their culture etc...? and does it say what the Greeks were doing in somalia at the time or what were their connections with the horn of Africa in those days??
That's not to say Zeila isn't an ancient town, noone is arguing that, but it was probably founded after the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea was written around 70 CE.
