If local people were more accepting of giving some land to IDP camps, population would far exceed 100,000 but they fought against IDP shelters due to land ownership rights. With more money coming in, the government will be able to buy land from locals and allocate some new camps for IDPs to increase the population and meet labor demands like Bosaso and Gaalkacyo.

That’s good but what about other cities in PL? You can’t put all your eggs in one bucket look at Mogadishu?

And who are building these hotels? The government or private investors?

well it is not as beautiful as it could be but still i think this shows that when we have peace, no matter hard the circumstances might be, we have the potential to succeed in everything, in nation building or in the private sector.

however, why did they give the name of "rays"? is there any significance to this name? sorry for my ignorance, but i am not familiar with this word (rays).

How do hotels benefit anybody? Are they going to provide shelter for the millions of IDPs? Does it benefit the starving homeless mass? No, it only benefits diaspora members who wish to vacation and return back to their meagarly lives.

Garowe is slowly becoming the best city in Puntland. Bosaso is getting some strong competition from Garowe. While Gaalkacyo is slowly becoming the 3rd most important city of Puntland instead of the 2nd (losing its place to Garowe).

Glamorous Garowe has zero revenue while it is being built with Bosaso hard earned money and foreign aid. Bosaso and Galkacyo deserve their share of the pie.

One joke goes: Some Galkacyonians went to Farole and threatened to secede if Mudug doesn't get its fair share. He laughed so hard and said that would be the greatest news gix gix gix. Look @ Garowe today, all these new buildings were built after Las Ano changed hands. We save millions of dollars each yr since Las Ano left us. We can double that by letting Galkacyo go too. That's just a joke - no pun intended.
