Age (i.e. young couple, or big gap in age), financial situation and other factors might play important role.

If such question arises during courtship (which is good rather than after marriage) then it's really necessary to know why one of the couple wants to postpone having kids until couple of years into the marriage.

I personally know a guy about 30 years old courting a girl in her 20's and she asked exactly this question and wanted them to have "fun" in the first couple of years in the marriage whereas the guy wasn't happy with it and saw the difference in their age as a factor.

Though it's not always a good idea to just pop kids ASAP but at the same time I don't see any reason why one wants to settle down if they don't want have kids after a year of marriage?

Murax, sure you can enjoy marriage with kids. and yes most people get married because they want to have a family, with that said, with kids in the picture right of the bat it won't be the same, instead of focusing on each other on the first year, if the woman gets knocked up she might not even want to see your face, some woman nimankooda baay nacaan markee walacaan, and when the kid comes she will spend most of her time taking care of the kid and you'd be busy providing for that child, heck you are lucky if you get laid twice a week, and forget when a bunch of kids are running around, you won't be getting laid at all, lol

Well the first few months I plan to get it in minimum 3 times a day. After that, I think I'll be able to go by with 3 nights a week, as long as I have some young Muraxs in this world
