Has anyone watched blood diamond? ... if you have you would recognize that they use the abbreviation TIA a few times in the movie. It’s almost expressive when they use it – indicating that in Africa everything goes (no rules).

Did you know that In 1960 10% of the worlds poor were African, by year 2000 50% were. I understand that Africa’s poverty is due to many reasons, but what do you think it mainly boils down to..?

I think its bad leadership...

Dependence on foreign aid. Just 25 years ago, Ethiopia had a higher GDP per capita than China, even during the famine. 40 years ago, Ghana had a higher GDP per capita than South Korea. Now its a bit of a joke to compare those African countries with their Asian counterparts. Those Asian economies also took foreign aid but only as a stepping stone. A bit thing is that Asians also took part in their nations' development while Africans usually stood idle. The big factor was foreign aid dependence though.

the history,data,and socioeconomics tells us that Africa's biggest hurdles and problem was its "big men "syndrom,no doubt!!

Bad work ethic across the continent, incompetent and selfish leadership, ignorant and parochial natives, and not enough people care enough to change the status quo.

2 inherent corrupt race. (no mora campus or personal responsibility like the whites)

4 low brain race. Not entrepeneur inclined. Rather beg than learn how to fish

Greedy leadership followed by appalling economy, Freeloaders outweigh the hardworking citizens. In all around bad ecological unit. That is the real reason why africa is in that situation.
