Snet Donation Drive

Post by Talo alle udaa »

Asc Wr Wb

Seeing the plight of the poor in our neck of the woods, and seeing the countless heart touching stories being bleamed across the globe
why not have a donation drive here online. Here are the basic rules.

1.) Find a charity organization you feel comfortable with

2.) Donate whatever amount is within your means

3.) Post the charity organization name, link, and the amount here to encourage others

4.) If you have already donated, go ahead and follow what #3 says

5.) Whenever someone does donate an amount, the following individual to post a comment will tally so as to keep a running total

This would materialize into something if we actually all attempt to contribute something, no matter how small. In addition, this has to be feesabililaah and not lie or joke about it here. In addition, please do not hijack this thread. keep it simple.

Let's try to raise $1000

Let's if this will work

I'm willing to donate, if someone knows of a good trustworthy charity.

You shouldn't mention what you've given in charity.

Cali_Gaab walaal hadaad si tartiib ah u akhriso waxaa kor ku qoray, if its done to help motivate others then its allowed. There are numerous accounts in the Islamic literature detailing exactly this type of action.

I encourage people not to donate on big global organizations like UN and Red Cross, but local, on the ground groups such as Xawaaladaha, Islamic organizatons/mosques, non-profit Somali organization that build schools and hospitals there. but there is no website that lists these organizations or their address, I will see if I can find it.

The drought in Somaliland has left me broke. This has to wait a little.
