those places are virus infested,

lastime its a couple of years ago now I was there they sent me some chinese virus that took down my laptop, I had to re-install windows from the recovery cd and lost everything stored in my computer,,,from that I never visit or download any movies/games from that place,

abdisamad3, if that is the case then your computer knowledge is limited, no offense sxb.

I've been downloading movies from peer2peer networks like the late Kazaa & Limewire, as well as Frostwire which are ridden with viruses if one doesn't know well how to steer clear off the fake seeders & suspicious software/music/videos.

I am using Thepiratebay about 2 - 3 years now and not even was any of PC's & laptop infected with virus.

Plus, as long as you're connected to the internet you're open to viruses & all kinds of security vulnerabilities. The secret is how know and defend your connection continuously.
