If you come to a place as an adult, it doesn't matter how long you been there, u can't really get rid of the accent.

My teacher in uni was from the UK, and lived in the US since the early 70's, and she still has an English accent

As for her accent being thick, you have to understand this woman is over 60. I could definitely see that cause what would audiences think if they see Anderson Cooper's reports from 1992 he's showing? It's like, "they still are starving?"

Add the upcoming recession and people are unfortunately going to still be donor wary
