Wow! Up close the city has developed tremendously. There are so many improvements. The airport looks SICK. There's also a lot of farms developed on the outer parts of town, its amazing. Masjid Al-Rowda looks gigantic! I'll mess with this later. Thanks for the GIF man.

I'm still amazed at all the huge farms outside of town, literally 20% of the city is those large farms, it must take a lot of money to irrigate all of that land. I'm wondering what they grow.

Bosaso: The pride of Somalia

This city will make Hargeisa look average by the end of this decade, then your going to see the tribalists and clan-nationalists in Somaliland regret their need for independence

I read in another thread were there was an ongoing debate about Bosaaso, and i think you mentioned that Bosaaso reached maximum size and cant grow further. Can you explain this further? why its size is at its peak?

bosaso is surrounded by mountains on one side and the sea on the other
the city cannot grow much further.

The town needs to become more dense. High rise towers instead of the ever expanding sea of tin shacks. That's how it can grow and become a bit more impressive.

I'm just completely fascinated by this new satellite. Wow wow wow. Bosaso is truly the top city in Somalia right now. To the east of town are some gigantic livestock pens and water reservoirs. I'm just stunned, Bosaso is on f-king fire.

I think Bosaso has grown at least by ~30,000 inhabitants between 2006 and 2011. Lots of new villas everywhere. :)

It's probably around ~200,000 now.
