Cousin marriages

Postby ManD333q » Sun Nov 27, 2011 2:53 pm

This is obviously very normal in somali culture and I know people back home still do this but how often have you seen this happen in western countries.
I have only seen this once here couple of weeks ago and I thought it to be very weird .And it didn't help that the groom looked very very similar to the brides brother :| can you see yourself marrying any of your first cousins?

Yes. Nothing wrong with it; science has proven there's negligible (something like 0.02%) difference between cousin and non-cousin marriages.

Nothing like sticking your penis down the tight pussyhole of your blood cousin.

Did that disgust you? Well know you know how I feel about cousin marriages.

This is news to me. Somali nomads have known for a long time the deleterious effects of marriages among close relatives.

Maandeeq, then it must be recent phenomenon spurred by the traumas of the civil war. People may want avoid future family problems due to clan differences. But that is shunned upon by traditional somalis. Somalis have known for a long time that marrying close relatives increases chances of inhereting genetic disorders. If you marry close relative, you reduce the genetic diversity in the gene pool of your children which will increase the chances of them inhereting a genetic disorder.
