Union and co

Postby SultanOrder » Mon Dec 12, 2011 12:55 am

This is my issue with union and stances on Islam, religion, and governance. I see him as nothing more than a lackey, with out a single unique idea of his own. This boy has inherited the western attitude towards religion, one that is specific to it's own evolutionary process. He has used it as a blue print towards his perceptions of Islam. Unfortunately he will always be seen to someone who is more versed to Islamic thought, as what he really is. . . a mouth piece. If only he would realize Islam is not Roman Catholicism and the Church. That the muslim world never had bloodshed of the reformation, it never had an estabilished clegergical heirarchy, it never had the inquisition, the suppresion of science etc. . . And it never had the enlightenment borne from a reaction to the over reaches of the church.

So all I want to say is that, as you go deeper into western political thought, remember they have specific notions that are characteristic to their own history, and not neccessarily universal.

I require clarification of your argument.

Are you saying that Islam is not anaglous to Christianity, therefore Western poltical phisolophies that emphasize the seperation of religion and public life should not be mimicked in the Muslim world?
