the UK weligood waxay u adeegsanaayeen burburka iyo halaaga somaaliya, and whoever believes the UK holds any sincere agenda for our people is lost. waa kuwii nfd iyo somali galbeed naga kaxaystay oo gacan shisheeye u dhiibey and if there forces come to somalia we will fight them just like mohamad cabdule xasan fought them 100 years ago.
 So what link does the powerful British kingdom of a 100 years ago have to do with the one now? Do you actually believe at this current time they would physically send an army to fight and invade somalia?
what you must understand is that alshabab represent a global movement which is antiwestern and pro shariah, the UK would send what they can to somalia if it means they cud put a lid on this growing 'terrorism' because in todays world, war is a business.

100 years ago the british were a colonial power that wanted to dominate third world territories, today they are a neo colonial power that are still hooked onto our destruction as a muslim somali nation.

Somali waan ahay (?)

lol I speak conversational Somali only. I am speaking in the long-term interests of the Somali people. I don't see any shame in getting foreigners help to stabilise Somalia.

After the major debacle in Iraq and Afghanistan, the recent overthrow of Libyan government, and recent economic meltdown of western economies, Somalia's untapped natural resources should be exploited since its population is badly displaced, beaten, and there is no group that can claim or present itself as the champions of the Somali state.

It is nothing else but scramble for Somalia.

Of course these wonderful and great imaginary untapped natural resources have been the source of exploitation plots for decades upon decades they must be kept safe

Right now the only option is a NATO intervention. Kenya has zero strategy nor even desire to lose men, Ethiopia is beaten down, and the regional proxy militias are a joke. A few days ago Al-Shabaab ambushed Axmed Madoobe's militias and stripped them of their weapons. Its clear that UK is hinting at a last-resort option since its the only thing left on the menu.

You should check with the World Bank and ask them if those untapped resources are imaginary
