How does a wedding in Somalia cost?

Postby IRONm@N » Sat Mar 24, 2012 3:46 pm

what does the average Somali wedding cost in average towns such as Galkacyo, Beledweyne, Kismayo etc.

well not that average, but someone from America marrying a girl in Somalia, how much should the wedding only cost,$500? $1000? $2000? $3000?

did any of you went there to marry? what did you spend.
I'm not talking about maher and all that stuff, Just wedding ceremony for the day.

^ we're talking about 'back home here, who in their right mind will pay $10 000 to marry a girl from Somalia? Surely you could get a dozen village gashantiis for that price.
