SHEEKH AXMED DHICISOOW: "Maalinta Jimcaha ah waxaa dhacaya Mudaaharaad looga soo horjeedo dastuurka cusub"

Image

Arbaco, May 09, 2012 (HOL) — Guddoomiyaha majmaca culummada Soomaaliyeed, Sheekh Axmed Dhicisoow ayaa sheegay in maalinta Jimcaha ah ee soo socota uu Muqdisho ka dhici doono dibabax looga soo horjeedo dastuurka cusub ee Somalia oo uu muran badan ka taagan yahay.

Sheekh Dhicisoow ayaa sheegay in dastuurkan uu yahay mid uga daran shirkii Baarliin ee lagu qaybiyay Soomaaliya, isagoo xusay in qodobbadiisa ay ka mid yihiin kuwo lagu doonayo in Soomaaliya loogu qaybiyo boqol qaybood.

Somali cleric council: The draft constitution is out of Islam

MOGADISHU(Sh. M. Network)-The leader of Somali Religious Council in Mogadishu Sheik Ahmed Dhi’isow says the current new draft constitution for Somalia is absolutely against the Islam.

“Every elder at the ongoing so called Somali traditional elders in Mogadishu supposed to select the constituent assembly that will adopt the draft constitution and choose a parliament is the enemy of Allah and the Islamic region,” he added.

Sheik Dhi’isow also, mentioned that the draft constitution is worst than the former Berlin conference which was divided the nationhood of Somalia country, because of it will weaken some of most sacred points for the nation and its people including the religion and the sovereignty of its borders.

This remarks followed as theSomalia’s traditional elders are holding a major conference inMogadishuin the fifth-day to select National Constituent Assembly of 825 clan-based members that will adopt the draft constitution as well as a new parliament of Somalia.

Somalia is like the rest of the world, people have the right to protest and demand their rights. You not gonna make them happy by imposing a Constitution on them.

The constitution is very vague on a lot of things.

It doesn't even outline the powers of the President and Prime Minister. Who is the head of government? Is it a parliamentary system? If it is, why doesn't the PM have full powers and the President be a figurehead position?

I swear, Somalis absolutely suck at politics wallahi.

your wrong Somalia is not like the rest of the world, the rest of world are competent enough to give their leaders a chance, the rest of the world does not kill people for watching the world cup, the rest of the world does not have it's leaders elected in a foreign country etc. I can go on, but you get the point.
How can you protest everything and everyone.
you have to sit down and shut the fuck up and listen after 20+ years of no proper government.

So? Adopting a failed approach again is gonna solve things? Same thing was done over 10 years ago, and we got another decade of war.
Sure every country is unique in some aspects. Denying people there right to protest against something that is going to affect their lives is just crazy, they have the right to protest, and by the looks of it they will.

How is it going to make their lives any worse please tell me, their children are being recruited by the TFG and al-shashkabaab to fight, don't lie about this either I wrote a paper on Somali child soldiers for a class I took. There's nothing wrong with protesting but there's something wrong with protesting every and any little thing, leave that geeljire pride/kibir in the country side, somebody has to lead the country and somebody has to shut the fuck and listen it's that simple.

This sheik will be in hot water if these demos turn violent. Farmajo demonstrators looted and burned hotel Madina Hotel in Waberi and nobody took responsibility for loss of lives poverty. It is going to be different this time.

I hope it is not true but rumor has it some prominent guys who are against the constitution and the selection of new PMs are pondering with the idea of collaborating with shababs or at least not standing their way. Remember AY/Ethiopia era? Almost everyone here was under wadados banner. In the meantime shababs are dancing around saying Allah turned the murtids against one another.

The problem is, the constitution is stupid in itself.
