There's still a huge unknown...did the American Gangster's domination of The Spider have more to do with Sonnen's octagon skills or Silva's bad ribs? Sonnen had Silva on his back longer than in that one fight than every opponent Anderson Silva's faced in the UFC combined. It's no secret that wrestler give Silva the most trouble, and Chael Sonnen is the best wrestler in the UFC bar none. With that being said, I'm with the guy who set a UFC record for most wins in a row, who's undefeated in the octagon and should record a record-10 straight title defenses. That's the thing, Silva is great off his back and submitted Dan Henderson using his BJJ while everyone thought it was gonna be a standup, knockdown type of fight so I don't think he's gonna panic if he gets taken down cuz he's very comfortable on his back. You can never really rest against Silva anywhere in the Octagon cuz you're always a flash-KO or rear-naked choke away from going home dazed and confused. Sonnen's camp is smart though and they're focusing the majority of the training on not getting caught in a submission cuz Sonnen tends to have momentarily lapses where he gives his opponents a quick opening...still, Sonnen is not stupid and knows he doesn't wanna stand with Silva so maybe we see him take Silva down, go into his guard and try to choke him out like he did to Brian Stann.You are not a causal fan.No way this one goes to the judges. Yeah Silva seems pretty pissed of, but he needs to be careful, his striking is 100 times better then sonnen but sonnen has his wrestling and if silva is careless he will hit the floor, so thats is the question, have sonnen improved his submission defence or will silva submit him again. Im sure Silva will go for the knockout but it will be to hard imo. Eitherway cant f-king wait anylonger.

A submission is probably gonna be the safe gameplan going in for either side but for different reasons...Sonnen cuz he has a snowball's chance in hell of winning a striking match, and Silva cuz he knows Sonnen is submission-prone. But I still say Silva will show his absolute mastery if he can knockout Chael Sonnen, someone that is very, very hard to do.
