Let's not kid ourselves. This isn't Somalia's election; it's the International Community's election for Somalia.
What if a 37 year old wanted to run? it should have been 30.If you look at world leaders the average age is around 50-55 I would guess, So 40 is alright.
The IC might as well bring foreigners to rule Somalis. The MPs are Somalis and so are the candidates.
Are you saying the presidency is reserved for nasab Somalis?a somali bantu will never be somali president even though they meet all those requirements.
even issaq will never be somalia president (not that issaq pple are interested in being president of that hell hole to begin with). president will either be hawiye (abgaal to be specific) or a darod (mj, dhulo and maybe marehan, that's it). so what i'm saying is, that list should mention the qabil as the first requirement since that's the main deciding factor who becomes president. Are you saying the presidency is reserved for nasab Somalis?a somali bantu will never be somali president even though they meet all those requirements.
That's unfair system. Can a non-nasab become vice president?even issaq will never be somalia president (not that issaq pple are interested in being president of that hell hole to begin with). president will either be hawiye (abgaal to be specific) or a darod (mj, dhulo and maybe marehan, that's it). so what i'm saying is, that list should mention the qabil as the first requirement since that's the main deciding factor who becomes president.
