The Jaaji Clan ( Not Qabil Topic)

Postby Minneapolis Mayor » Wed Jan 30, 2013 11:40 am

Has any of you heard of this brothers? They live in Xeebta Hobyo. Very beautiful, peace loving brothers. I met them when we went there In 1987. We were neighbours with some of them.

i have met one jaaji guy at a hospital one night he told me he is from karaan though he was speaking af banaadiri and looked abit mixed with his round head and other figures except that he was dark mabe because of the fish they eat. He told me they live alongside the coastal northern banaadir up to ceelmacaan and cadalle and that they stablished these villages before the abgaals settle in them. He said somalis in the old times didnt marry from them bc they fish some cayayaan lugobodan and eat it but now the somalis eat it and even the waraabe so they start marrying from them maadaama bada lawada galey

Yeah he said to me they are indigenous somalis but he was clearly mixed between a foreingner and somali, very caucasian though he was dark but some kinda of strange dark not the deep typical dark.
I think they have been in xeebaha hiraab as settlers while the hiraabs were in the interior as moving nomads. They are related to the reer maayo of marka
