eritrea has 12% arable land = 14,588.4 km2
somalia has 1.64% arable land = 10,288.3 km2

thats not arable land, that 1.64% is land under current cultivation.
before 1990 it was 2% with irrigation it reach 15% that is a huge amount of farmland.
