I used to think composing Gabay is a some kind of a unique talent which is only possessed by Few Individuals. Its actually an Art of practice, edit, and brain Storming. I composed a gabay in 2011 when I was sending my graduation DVD to my Mother back home. That was the first time I tried and It didn't take me long.
it actually came together so Good. I said,
Marka hore Salaan diiranbaan hooyo soodiraye,
Marka xiga Tacliintaan waxbadan Dibad umeeraayay,
oo aan dadkii aan lahaa uga ahaa duurgal,
Digrigii aan qaataybaan duubkusooxiray,
Farxadii damaashaadka yaan hooyo soodiraye,
Kuildoogso roobkaa di'iyo damacya rayn raynta.
This is the first art I ever owned. I am thinking of composing a gabay about how I am growing Old in the West with No money to get married with and how Weddings are too expensive here. Will share with you in the future when I put something together. I only have the first line.
