That's what I meant; going to whole sale shops to buy parts and just pay for labour. Your services/parts are a lot cheaper than what we pay though.

Yeah there's Mexicans here. Usually migrant workers who get paid less than minimum and they work for constructions, farms, maids, etc. They're given 3-4 year contracts and are ineligible to apply for a Canadian PR/citizenship. They also pay into taxes but don't get E.I., health care, access to social housing and a lot of other services :(
I meant chico or jose who takes cash and does anything you need. Mexican's are very hard workers.

I'm surprised you know so much, most girls are apathetic to their cars.

Danta ayaa igu khasabtay :( Nope. The only mechanics I know of that have decent prices are Ayrabs.

I remember reading Mexicans actually retain a crazy percentage of jobs that could be outsourced. Y'all should be patting Jose on the back.

You can't really outsource manual labor, and they undercut local businesses. Jose is cheap, but in the long run is he good for us? I don't know.

True @ labour but I meant in general. Hiring illegal workers (Mexicans) is a pretty attractive choice for a lot of companies/employers. Huge corporations also undermine local businesses.

 I'm pretty sure my mechanic is Lebanese too. My mom's is Egyptian.

Sometimes it's cheaper to buy the parts and just pay for the labour.

^ I thought he's Masri. Naw, the Lebanese one I'm talking about is off Merivale. He could be Pali though, but I doubt it.

Tushi: Illahay ha unaxaristo. I never met or heard of a Somali mechanic in Ottawa.
