I've searched for similar threads on this forum and haven't come across any yet. I think it'd be beneficial to post/share recipes that have been tried and tested by members
This is an all-inclusive thread that can include soups, main dishes, desserts, drinks, appetizers, etc, Somali food or otherwise. I hate having to cook but not knowing what I want to make, then wasting my time pondering. Hopefully this thread can help people who are looking for ideas for their next meal, or for an casuumad, or just wanting to try something new

Hello dolly bars
1.5 cups of graham crackers
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut shavings
1/2 cup of peanut butter chips
1/2 cup of pecans
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1. Mix graham crackers and butter in a bowl. Press into a 9x13 (2 inch deep) baking pan.
2. Spread chips, coconut and pecans ontop of the crust.
3. Pour condensed milk over pan.
4. Bake at 325 C degrees for 25 minutes or till the edges are golden brown
This is a pretty flexible recipe. Apart from the crust, chocolate chips and condensed milk, the other ingredients are optional. You can omit the pecans/peanut chips or substitute with other nuts/chips, as well as use more or less or no coconut.
