Basra, Hyper and Other Somali-Arabs, Please Help

Post by BeyondQabil »

In this video, a small Syrian refugee boy is being whipped by his host family. According to the explanation, it's because he's the wrong type of Arab. But i don't know if this is true. Do you know what they're saying

They keep telling the kid to hit him and punch him and slap him. Thats all that is said in the video.

He is a syrian refugee who has probably been placed with a lebanese host family by the UN.
Many Lebanese despise syria because they blame syria for their civil war.

That was painful to watch, had to stop.

I wish there was a disease to kill off the wretched of the world. Poor baby, I wish I could protect him. Not to mention the mental damage of the children being taught this violence. So shameful.

Thanks; I think hatred is in the heart of people. But Maybe the kid did something wrong. Maybe he hit the girl - we just don't know the full story.

@LoveA; yep. it was painful. But I think you should think of adoptinga Somali kid when you get married. You should put this as a condition to any suitor. This way, you'll be able to judge the level of the man's benevolence.

Inside at the bar drinking, the side and the people around you wear the same shirt, as with a team, that is how happy things.

What is the purpose of posting anything on Snet? what is the purpose of posting ANY video on Snet? I saw the video online, i read the comments below - that the boy was being beaten because he was the wrong type of Arab. That's why my question was specific to those who understand Arabic. But then, we can't make a solid conclusion based on what is being said in the video (If what has been explained by thegoodshepherd is to be believed.). That's why i commented that it's impossible to know how justified the host family was in punishing the kid. We honestly can't tell whether the kid was Syrian or whether the kid was actually a member of the family that had beaten up the girl.

If the person who uploaded the video on facebook is right, then it's just another reminder to many people on Snet, who had a desire to take care of disadvantaged children, that their desires are well placed and that they should pursue it instead of Qabil politics.
