Halloween sex assault suspect Peter Braunstein has reportedly been spotted in Ohio, according to a popular anti-crime TV show.
The television show "America's Most Wanted" reports that Braunstein was recently spotted at several strip clubs in Cleveland – where he may have been looking for a new victim.
The show reports that Braunstein used several aliases, pretending to be a movie producer and a retired police detective from Los Angeles, among other things.
He'd been reportedly telling people he was scouting locations for a movie shoot.
According to the show, Braunstein stayed at a local motel and paid for everything in cash.
New York City police and U.S. marshals have received several tips from TV viewers following the report, but they have yet to pan out.
Police say Braunstein posed as a firefighter on Halloween, and started a small fire to gain entry into a woman's Chelsea apartment, where he allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted her.
