Emergency Rooms: Go at your own peril

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Mon Dec 12, 2005 11:49 am

Never ever go to the ER on a weekend night. My cousin got sick this weekend and I took him to the ER. During my 7 hour stay there, I realized "NEVER GO TO THE ER."

1. Delays, Delays, Delays - It took about 4 hours before we were able to see a physcian. Just when I thought it was our turn, some gang banger who got shot 5 times would be rolled in. How many brothers can be shot on a Friday nite ?

2. Nurses - By far, the night shift seem to be the least attentive. They never check on patients until u call them.

3. The Waiting Room - Be prepared to sit with all types of characters. I had the opportunity to sit by members of the Latin Kings who had 2 gang members shot up. After they left, I was sitting next to a Pimp who had brought one of his employees in for treatment.

4. The Insurance Co-Pay, = $80. Four times the deductible for regular doctor visits. For all this bad treatment, u pay through the nose.

All in all, the ER ain't nothing like on TV. Never go to the ER. Twisted Evil

Qaali.. A&E lol

It was quite the experience. The Latino gangbangers thought I was from El Salvador & got upset when I reply to them in Spanish. I had to explain to them I was from Africa, from Somalia. One fo them said, "Oraaley, u from the Black Hawk Down country... Is that sh&t for real...?" I told him yeah except we were much better fighters than in the movie.

The Pimp was quite the character. He was upset at his employee spending so much time off during prime working hours. He was rushing the nurse to hurry up so his lady could go out on the track. Be wary of the PIMP HEALTH PLAN
