That's not true. The open source community is the most openminded and pragmatic regarding software. The Apple community are those who somewhat consider their OS a religion. The Windows community know little about their OS, mostly clicking or double clicking, so they can't be considered religious.

i use both Mac OS X and WinXP, people like Mac OS b/c its "user-friendly", it's very easy to use and isn't much of a target for viruses and browser hijacks etc.. not to mention itunes,ichat,airport Xtreme, and Cut Video and other programs. so basically, Mac Os X users are multimedia junkies. check out this link below for Mac OS X vs Win XP.
