Saudi arabia doesn't sukk its just Ukraine is a really good team who screwed up their first game. Plus when you have your starting lineup come from two teams in the Saudi league ( Al hillal and al itihad) then there is a) Something wrong with the level of competition in your league and b) players will never get better when they play people from the same league and the disparity level is so great that its not even competiton
When they can send there players to Europe and they can hone there skills with the best of them then they will truelly succeed. Otherwise its all for not and KSA will never have a world class competitive team.
To be fair S. Arabians don't have bad players as many have said. What they lack, the winning ingradiant so to speak, is team cohesion. It's evident in their final 1/3 play, they lack trust and understanding of each other. Finishing is substandard but the build up is often quite good.
Maybe 1 or 2 true playmakers in midfield is what will take them to next level.
