The issue is one of consent.

The easy forumla to use here is where would you rather live, the US or Pakistan? Or the US or Iran?? Or the US or Saudi Arabia.

Do you want the goverment telling you who you can and can not socialize with? Who you can or can not fock? That is no one elses buisiness but my own. Period, end of story.

I'm not sure what the point would be. Us rapes are underreported, but at least there is a mechanism for dealing with them that doesn't criminalize the victim.

We are apparently talking about large numbers here and institutionalized victimization. I really don't think y ou can compare the US and Pakistan on this issue.
