IGAD/Ethiopia&Djabuti oppose Somaliland.

Postby hanqadh » Tue Jul 06, 2010 7:45 pm

According to reliable sources Ethiopia and Djabuti were worried about the recent elections in Somaliland and how peaceful the transfer of power was and the whole process.Ethiopia opposes Somaliland becoming Independent because it sets a dangerous precedent in the region/in Africa and simply because Somaliland will become more assertive with its new found abilities which would put Ethiopia at a disadvantage.Ethiopia also opposes South Sudan becoming a state aswell for similar reasons.

Djabuti will become an insignificant little state once again, so they hate the idea of Somaliland.

Ethiopia also beleives Siilanyo has a strong Islamist backing which worries them.

Ethiopia would rather keep Somaliland in this never-ending dream while it undermines it too.

Hanqadh Intelligence bureau.

But Somaliland has no choice do they? its sweet relations with Ethiopia or Xamar

Djiboutis biggest fear is an independent strong somaliland ,And Ethiopia will lose its influance when somaliland is recognized , the relationship will be tottaly different, but silanyo linked to islamist is false based on nothing , Ethiopia doesent like Silanyo in power but they dont have a choice do you know why because they dont want to disrupt the peace in somaliland they will lose because of the port. , But Silanyo is willing to restart the diplomatic ties with the Ethiopians but it will be different , what rayaale had , maybe silanyo will chose a different direction

The Djiboutian president is trying to manipulate the Constitution in order to run for a 3rd time.
Ethiopia ruling party won the elections with 99.6 % of the vote amidst wide spread accusations of irregularities , human rights violation etc..ect..

I would be concerned by the rising star in terms of championing democracy in the HOA that Somaliland is..if I were either of them that is .

Its simple horumar uma rabo wax Somali ah si kastaba ha ahaatee, inuu ku hoos noolado uu isaga ka war hayo adeegsado oo danihiisa kaga dhameysto moyaane...aqoonsi iyo dowladnimo somalilan ama somali dhamaan wuxuu la rabo ma aha tigreegan.

Somaliland other than the political co-operation Itoopiya wax iskuma leh, Berbera alaabta laga dajiyo lagana rarto dhul Somaliyeed ila Harar iyo hararge buu ka yimaade taasina waligeedba way jirtay.
