Region population in S/land & Somalia

Postby Keyse_0208 » Tue Jun 07, 2011 11:39 am

What are the current region/gobolada population numbers in 2011, of all previous 18 gobols, since no census has been done in a while. and what gobol would u say has the largest population numbers ? I believe its [1] maroodi jeex [2] hiiraan based on the movement of people in the last 10 years. Who has the facts.

Keyse nobody has a current population census for decades other than the usual UNDP population estimations, registrations of 2001 Somaliland Referendrum. However i believe Gurey or someone months ago posted the population census of each region in Sland & Somalia in 1975.

My Guess would be like this the top 5 in terms of Population as of today. 1.Benadiir, 2.Maroodijeex(Waqooyi Galbeed), 3.Shabeelaha Hoose, 4.Shabeelada Dheexe/Bay, 5.Togdheer.
