Computer geeks assemble

Postby LiquidHYDROGEN » Fri Sep 06, 2013 1:20 pm

I'm looking to purchase a decent desktop. I've been looking around and the Dell XPS 27 AIO looks the most impressive in terms of specs. And other than Fooball Manager, I'm not a gamer so I'm not interested in gaming pcs. What do you guys think?

:childplease: I'm not one of those Apple groupies who buy their products just because I can.

Can't wait for the new MacBook Pro. I could've purchased the current version but I'm holding out for this upcoming release.

If you're not into gaming, anything with an i5 processor of any kind or better will suffice.

Bro, I don't know how you can justify spending thousands on a laptop.

I'm in dire need of new hardware. I'm currently stuck with a MacBook (2006). I bought a Dell Inspiron in 2010, what a dreadful decision. The internal battery and the charger died last autumn. I purchased a new charger for it, only to have the internal cmos battery die during this past Ramadan. So, in the meantime, I'm trapped between a rock and a hard place aka that MacBook and an ancient HP Pavilion desktop from 2005. :meles:

The release is expected this upcoming week after the Apple event on the 10th of this month. Indeed, the new MacBook Pro will solve all of my problems.

Why should I buy the current soon-to-be outdated version when I can own the most powerful laptop in the universe very soon?

:notsure: Can it be used as a desktop replacement? Both my HP pc and laptop have died on me after years of service but I'm kind of annoyed with Windows now because of repeated problems.
